Nightshard was once two separate men: a righteous knight and the assassin sent to kill him. When both fell from a castle tower during their final battle, a passing necromancer fused their dying bodies and souls as an experiment. Now a single being with dual consciousness, he struggles as the knight and assassin aspects battle for control. The armor's duality reflects this inner conflict - the metal side rigid with honor, the leather flexible with pragmatism. By day, he hunts corrupt nobles who abuse power, delivering justice with swift precision. By night, he protects innocent villagers from creatures drawn to his unusual magical signature. Local taverns speak of a hooded figure who pays for information with mismatched coins - silver from noble treasuries and copper saved from peasant donations. His greatest struggle isn't external foes but maintaining balance between his warring halves.
A menacing warrior clad in asymmetrical armor that combines heavy metal plating on one side with flexible leather on the other. His face remains hidden beneath a shadowed hood, creating an air of mystery and dread. The contrasting elements of his attire - rigid vs. flexible, metal vs. leather, light vs. dark - reflect a dual nature, while his imposing silhouette suggests both strength and agility.
