Professor Polychrome wasn't always the most respected language teacher at the Rainforest Academy. He started as a regular macaw until he accidentally swallowed a dictionary during a library mishap, gaining the ability to speak every language ever printed on its pages. Now he teaches young rainforest creatures how to communicate across species, holding classes from his favorite branch using fallen flower petals as visual aids. His most popular course is "Introduction to Human Puns," though the sloths always get the jokes three days late. Local legend says he can translate rain patterns into poetry and that his feathers change color slightly depending on which language he's speaking. Young birds often bring him colorful objects, hoping he'll tell them the word for their color in every known tongue.
